The groundbreaking ISPS HANDA World Super 6 Perth captured the imagination of the golfing world and the strong support of corporate partners with its inaugural staging in 2017.
Back in 2018 and being played at Lake Karrinyup Country Club from 8-11 February the tournament is once again experiencing significant support with the re-signing of all current partners.
“The success of the ISPS HANDA World Super 6 Perth was thanks to many components but it would not have been possible without our valued partners sharing our vision for an energised new golf format,” said David Pryles, GM – Commercial, for the PGA of Australia.
“Their investment in the ISPS HANDA World Super 6 Perth went beyond monetary; they have lived and breathed the journey with us.”
Headlined by the Western Australian government via Tourism WA and title partner ISPS HANDA a number of other key partners will continue to derive benefits from their association with the golf tournament.
“While our partners are a key ingredient to the tournament’s success, the ISPS HANDA World Super 6 Perth delivers many tangible and intangible results to our partners,” added Pryles.
“With a broadcast reach to over 575 million homes around the world, significant media coverage and some of the world’s best players bringing attention to the tournament our partners were highly motivated to re-sign for the second addition.
“Tourism WA is a fantastic host Government partner and we enjoy a strong and collaborative relationship with them. Their bold support for what was a world first format when the tournament debuted in Perth as been critical to the event’s success.”
Amongst those to have signed multi-year deals with the ISPS HANDA World Super 6 Perth are Tourism WA, ISPS HANDA, Tag Heuer, Pan Pacific Perth, Kumho Tyre, Coca Cola Amatil, Nova 93.7 and Fox Sports. While Emirates and APN Outdoor both renewed with new multi-year deals.
A number of inaugural partners have re-signed and in a positive reflection of their experience with the ISPS HANDA World Super 6 Perth have increased their level of support. This includes Subaru, Yenda, Cobra Puma Golf, BDO who have also taken naming rights of the BDO Super Suite and West Cape Howe Wines who will continue to have naming rights of the West Cape Howe Wines Terrace.
Helloworld Travel has joined the ISPS HANDA World Super 6 Perth family of partners and E-Z-GO have also re-signed.
